Renowned ophthalmologist Dr. Ramendra Bakshi practises in Delhi and has more than 22 years of experience. After completing her MBBS from Motilal Nehru Medical College and her MS in Ophthalmology from the prestigious Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College in Meerut, Dr. Bakshi subsequently completed her Cornea Fellowship at Sankara Nethralaya in Chennai.

She has performed more than 5000 successful cataract procedures, and she specializes in comprehensive eye exams, computerized eye testing, laser eye surgery, blade-free laser eye surgery, phakic intraocular lenses for thin corneas, and cataract surgery. She is also an expert at microincision surgery with an IOL, cornea transplant, treatment of dry eyes, reconstruction of the ocular surface, keratoprosthesis, treatment of keratoconus, and treatment of glaucoma.

She has national and international publications to her name and is frequently invited to lecture on cataract surgery at scientific gatherings and CDEs. She is a member of the All India Ophthalmological Society, Delhi Ophthalmological Society, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), and European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. In 2011, she received the Best Paper of Session Award from ASCRS in San Diego, California (ESCRS).
