Dr. Jalpa Vashi has over 26 years of expertise as an ophthalmologist. She is an expert in both traditional and laser cataract procedures. She also handles cases of glaucoma, diabetes-related eye issues, hypertension, thyroid, prescriptions for glasses and contact lenses, assessments of patients who have lost their vision, and other complaints for which a diagnosis has not been made. Dr. Vashi has completed 15,000 cataract operations till date.

Dr. Vashi earned her MBBS from Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College in Ahmedabad in 1994, followed by her DO and MS degrees from CH Nagri Eye Hospital in Ahmedabad in 1998 and 1999, respectively. A Fellowship in Anterior Segment and Phacoemulsification was afterwards pursued by her. She then went on to do advanced training in glaucoma treatment.

She has won various accolades and honors. She got the first prize in the All India Ophthalmological Society’s Leadership Development Program. She has also been invited to speak at conferences and CMEs held at the state and national levels, making her one of the best eye doctors in India. Additionally, she has presented clinical research articles at ophthalmology conferences held at the national and international levels. She is a member of the All India Ophthalmic Society, Karnataka Ophthalmic Society, Bangalore Ophthalmic Society, and the Glaucoma Society of India.
