Dr. Pankaj Venkatrao is a renowned pediatric nephrologist in India with almost 24 years of experience in the field of Nephrology. His areas of expertise include the detection and treatment of disorders like Renal tubular acidosis, management of conditions like nephrotic syndrome with relapses, nephritis, blood in the urine, peritoneal and hemodialysis for acute kidney failure, etc.

Dr. Deshpande has received numerous honors and recognitions during the course of his career. He has participated actively in a number of organizations, serving as the pediatric official doctor for the Transplant Games in Birmingham in 1999, organizing DCH exams in Bombay in 1994, serving as the official doctor for the KEM cardiology unit’s blood drive in Bombay in 1993, and serving as the HosteL Secretary at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital in Bombay for two years.

He then traveled to the UK to complete his MRCP (Membership of Royal College of Physicians) Additionally, he completed FCPS (Fellowship in College of Physicians & Surgeons) in Child Health and DCH (Diploma in Child Health) in India.
