He completed his medical graduation from the prestigious Madras College following which he went to the United Kingdom for postgraduate training where he gained extensive experience. He pursued a Fellowship for the Royal College of Surgeons in the United Kingdom and worked in the country for more than two decades. He has also completed certification in Urodynamics from Bristol urology Institute and certification in management from Great Yarmouth College, United Kingdom.
