Dr. Manish Baijal is a highly revered, experienced, and skilled bariatric surgeon who has been in practice for over 22 years. He is credited for being the first surgeon to do scarless neck surgery for Thyroid and Parathyroid Diseases.

With great dexterity, he performs surgery for Morbid Obesity (Weight Loss) and Metabolic Disorders (Bariatric Surgery). In November 2016, he was the winner of the India News Health Awards’ “Excellence in Bariatric Surgery” category, and the Surgical Review Corporation, USA, named him “Surgeon of Excellence for Bariatric Surgery.”

He completed his DNB in General Surgery at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi in 1996 after graduating with an MBBS from Kasturba Gandhi Medical College in Manipal in 1992. Following that, he received his MNAMS from the National Board of Examination in 2000. Later, he completed the FIAGES (Foundation of the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endosurgeons) and FALS (Foundation of Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery) fellowships. He was also trained in bariatric surgery at Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA.
