Dr. Rajendra Prasad is a highly renowned neurosurgeon and spine surgeon in India having worked in this field for more than 35 years. Soon after his graduation, he went to the UK for further training in neurosurgery. After his FRCS, he worked at the National Hospital for Nervous Diseases, London, and the Nottingham University Hospital. He further pursued a Spine fellowship from Royal National Orthopedic Hospital, Stanmore, and London. He has to his credit more than 3100 brain and spine surgeries which comprise 1400 brain surgeries and 1700 spinal surgeries.

He was a driving force behind the implementation of cervical and lumbar radiofrequency rhizotomies at his present institution, performing over a hundred of them in less than three years. He was a nominee in the BMJ Awards for South Asia 2015 and the winner of the BMJ Awards for the First Time in 2014.

He worked as a Special Registrar in Neurosurgery at Nottingham University Hospital and the National Hospital for Nervous Diseases in London. He also acquired his training as a Senior Registrar at Frenchay Hospital in Bristol, UK.

He has experience working in teaching facilities such as Cork Regional Hospital and the National Hospital for Nervous Disease in Cork. He is the Founder and Chairman of the Primary Trauma Care Centre in the United Kingdom (Delhi chapter).
