Dr. Ramani Narasimhan is a renowned pediatric orthopedic surgeon in India with more than 34 years of rich experience. His areas of expertise include orthopedic problems and diseases, both traumatic and non-traumatic.

Dr. Narasimhan earned his MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi in 1985. He then went on to earn his MS in orthopedic surgery from King George’s Medical College in Lucknow in 1991 and his Fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedics from Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford in 1998. He is also a Fellow of the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) in Pediatric Orthopedics from the United States.

He has earned various accolades and awards in recognition for his contribution to the field. He was given the “Dr. B. N. Sinha gold Medal” by Lucknow University in 1991 for being the top orthopedic resident and for his outstanding clinical thesis. Additionally, in 2008, the IMA presented him with its renowned “Exemplary Contribution Award” for Pediatric Orthopedics.

Fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedics from Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford in 1998. He is also a Fellow of the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) in Pediatric Orthopedics from the United States.

The Indian Orthopedic Association (IOA), the Association of Spinal Surgeons of India (ASSI), and the Indian Academy of Cerebral Palsy (IACP) are just a few of the reputable associations that Dr. Narasimhan is a member of. He served as the former president of the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of India (POSI) and as the foundation’s secretary (POF).

The doctor has actively taken part in a number of workshops and presented papers at various annual conferences at national and international levels. He has also participated in a number of international conferences, including the Scoliosis Research Society (SRS) meeting in San Diego, “The Management of Cerebral Palsy – The team approach to improving function” in Rocky Hill, Connecticut, the 65th Annual Conference of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) in New Orleans, the Speciality Day Meeting of the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America (POSNA).
