Dr. Sanjay Borude has over 30 years of expertise as an obesity and bariatric surgeon. He is a founding member of the Obesity Surgery Society of India, a Life Member of the Association of Surgeons of India, and a representative of the Asia-Pacific Chapter of the International Society for Obesity Surgery (IFSO) since 2010.

Dr. Borude studied Obesity Surgery at prestigious institutes in the United States, Belgium, and Spain, and has received numerous distinctions and awards for his work in the field. He owns the world record for operating on an 11-month-old baby making him one of the most respected and best bariatric surgeons in India.

In 1983, he earned his MBBS from the University of Bombay, and in 1988, he earned his MS in General Surgery from the same institution. The International Federation for Obesity Surgery, the International College of Surgeons, and the Asia Pacific Bariatric Surgery Society have all awarded him Fellowships.
