Dr. Chitra Sankar has been in practice for the past 25 years and has a wealth of knowledge. She works primarily with kids between the ages of 0 and 3. She is skilled in the diagnosis of a variety of developmental diseases, including autism, learning difficulties, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and cerebral palsy. She also works with learning difficulties, behavioral issues, ADHD, speech delays, and growth and developmental education. She has a certificate allowing her to administer the developmental assessment scale for newborns.

Dr. Chitra earned her MBBS from Madras Medical College In 1989, and in 1996, she earned her Diploma in Child Health from London. In 1999, she also received a fellowship in MRCP from London. She is a member of a number of associations, including the India Academy of Pediatrics, the Bangalore Pediatric Society, the Growth and Development Chapter, and the Childhood Disability Group.
